Your Tutor

Hi, I'm Phil Heeley — music technology educator, BandLab specialist, and founder of Inclusive Music. I've spent 30 years helping teachers bring music into their classrooms using technology — from Dance eJay for Schools back in 2004 to GarageBand, and now BandLab. I've trained educators across the world, presented at international conferences, and produced the official RSL Music Production Grade 1 teaching videos. I have no formal music qualifications. I can't read music. And I've never let that stop me — because technology is the great equaliser. It's what gave me a career in music, and it's what gives every child in your classroom a fair shot at making something they're genuinely proud of.
